It all starts with a little catnip... perhaps provided by the cat's human companions.
Then, one day the cat gets really high and likes it.
Soon it's not just catnip. All the houseplants have chew marks. The cat gets high every day.
Next it's the plastic plants on top of the cabinets as the cat seeks new highs.
The cat develops a glassy-eyed stare, but all that matters is getting high.
Then, to compound the tragedy, easily impressionable young cats look up to the high cat.
