The executives of bobandeva.com recently decided to
provide more funds for their bonuses by getting rid of
 the more senior and higher compensated technical staff.

One of the first targets was Miss Penelope, the IT Kitty.
She had been managing the data center quite well, but
it was determined that she could be replaced by the
younger and less experienced Miss Phoebe.

The replacement plan ran into problems on the day that
subsequently was referred to as the "printer jam nap".

Here we see the printer and Miss Phoebe. The printer should be printing
but is not due to a paper jam. Miss Phoebe should be watching the printer
but is not due to a night of raising hell with Happy.

Ironically, the unwatched printer jam is detected by the dedicated
Miss Penelope. Even though she is being dumped by the company,
she still demonstrates professional devotion to her responsibilities.

Miss Penelope quickly fixed the printer malfunction; then set out
to fix Miss Phoebe's malfunction.

Penelope attempted to explain to Phoebe that the IT Kitty was required
to keep watch on all the computer equipment and keep it running well.
She discussed contractual requirements and service level agreements and
self-pride in doing one's job to the best of one's ability.

Miss Phoebe said that she WAS doing her job to the best of her ability.

Then she rolled over and went back to sleep.
