Recipe: two young and frisky kitties, one old and resting cat.

Penelope was trying to get Squeaky to wake up and play. Annabelle was egging her on.

Squeaky was expressing some annoyance but the young ones didn't recognize the signs.

Penelope had the idea that Squeaky might like to play a game of tag.

Right after this shot, Penelope reached out and tagged Squeaky on the arm.

Squeaky reacted with a loud growl/hiss/roar and tagged Penelope on the side of the head with a roundhouse that knocked her off the arm of the chair. It happened so fast that I missed the picture. And we thought Squeaky was a gentle old lady.

This is Annabelle checking Penelope for blood and broken bones.

Squeaky lays back down to continue her nap as Annabelle gives CPR.
